Our Story.

The idea for our crowns were born in 2008, when Mattias Finzelberg witnessed how potentially harmful steel crowns were being applied to children’s teeth in a dental clinic. Our founder decided then and there to set out on what would become a 6-year journey to create a better alternative. 600 pages of technical documentation, numerous tests by accredited laboratories and two internationally recognized certifications later KiDDY CAPS are now being used in countless countries and a growing number of pediatric dentists.

Dental Crowns & Certifications

“The Metal Crown Swap”: KiDDY CAPS launches a free promotion that helps dentists around the world swap potentially toxic metal crowns for ceramic KiDDY-CAPS. * New Certification *: KiDDY CAPS receives the certification for the Annex II - excluding Section 4 of the Council Directive 93/42/EEC. A crown for every tooth: The manufacturing process now includes crowns for each tooth with the addition of incisor lower, incisor upper, and canine kits.

Fairs & Certifications

Global recognition: The leading trade fair of ceramics, Ceramitec, awards KiDDY CAPS as the “Best Component: Technical Ceramic.” Guest lecture in Lebanon: KiDDY CAPS speaks at the Scientific Day at Hachem Dental Care Lebanon and receives a certificate from the Lebanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry. * New Certification *: KiDDY CAPS receives the DIN EN ISO 13485 EG-certification.
